Patricia Bohannon
After marrying, raising two children, and working as a commercial artist, Patricia Bohannon earned a BA with high honors in Secondary Art Education from Chicago State University.  Today, she creates socially and spiritually uplifting paintings and sculptures that win awards and inspire her peers, her collectors, and her students.

Bohannon employs a rich palette to create vibrant abstract and representational works in multiple genres including her well known “praise sculptures,” which visualize Psalm 100, the Psalm of Praise, and which Bohannon says serve as, “a proclamation of my Christian faith.”

Collectors of Bohannon’s work include NASA astronaut and physician, Dr. Mae C. Jemison, and Dave Winfield, a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

A native of Chicago, Patricia Bohannon lives in Stone Mountain, GA where she teaches and creates art.
